SEO Isn’t Really That Hard

Don’t get me wrong, SEO takes time and is quite an “art form”, but if you spend the time and put in the work learning the different in’s and out’s, it really isn’t THAT hard. Disclaimer: There are plenty of people, including myself, who charge for their SEO expertise, and by no means am I saying you shouldn’t hire someone to handle your SEO.

The main reasoning for writing this post was that I found consultants and businesses who were selling SEO services weren’t actually optimizing websites for SEO. Since SEO is such a complex topic that most business owners don’t have the time to understand, they can easily take advantage of this complexity to make some quick money for no work.

For the simplicity of this post, let’s break down SEO into simple terms.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is defined as “the process of maximizing the number of visitors to a particular website by ensuring that the site appears high on the list of results returned by a search engine.” (Google)
